Business Pitch Episode Recap
Anthony asked the Sharks for $250,000 in exchange for 33% equity, valuing the company at $757,576. He and his wife Tina demonstrated their product and informed the Sharks that they had sold 6,000 units in 2 years.
They also mentioned that the product’s manufacturing cost is about $7, and the retail price is $29.95. Over 2 years, they have achieved total sales of $179,700.
Kevin O’Leary feels that the asking amount is too high based on the company’s stake, so he is out. Kevin Harrington said that it’s a seasonal product which is not perfect for his marketing strategy, so he is out.
Daymond John liked the product but felt the company’s valuation was not justified, so he is out. Barbara Corcoran also declined to invest. Robert Herjavec said the asking amount was too high, so he is out.
