He explained that the Carsik Bib has a pad that absorbs liquid and helps reduce odor. Cookson got the idea for this product from his own experience, as his two children suffered from car sickness.

Each product costs $0.19 to make, and Cookson has sold a total of 160 units through his online website. He has invested a total of $1,300 in the business so far.

Daymond John said he couldn’t invest $30k in this business, so he is out.

Kevin O’Leary said this business wouldn’t fit well in his portfolio, so he couldn’t invest. He is out.

Jeff Foxworthy said the bib is a liability for kids, so he is out. Robert Herjavec said he doesn’t like the idea of his kids sitting in the car wearing a plastic bag, so he is out.

Barbara Corcoran also declined to invest in the business.

Carsik Bib Shark Tank Update

Cookson didn’t get a deal on Shark Tank, and his dream of launching his product in large quantities didn’t come true. However, he didn’t give up and decided to shut down the Carsik Bib business and start a new venture. The current estimated worth of Carsik Bib Company is $0.

Les Cookson is a product developer who, along with Ken Higginson, has launched Kickstarter campaigns for over 10 different products. His most successful products are The LUCY Drawing Tool and The Camera Obscura, which together raised a total of $129,477 through their Kickstarter campaigns.

He appeared on Shark Tank Season 13 Episode 21 to seek investment from the Sharks for his product, the LUCY Drawing Tool.
