College Foxes Packing Boxes Shark Tank Recap
Nick and Omar revealed that their Hunk business was the fastest-growing junk removal franchise business in 2009. However, their already successful business was not part of this deal. In response, Kevin O’Leary said, “We’re not idiots here.”
Last year, their Hunk business had sales of $500,000 with a 20% profit margin. Kevin O’Leary offered $250k for 51% of their both business. The Sharks want Foxes and Hunks to combine into one offer, after which they can proceed further with the deal.
Nick and Omar both went backstage to discuss and came back to the Sharks asking for $1 million for 10% equity at a $10 million valuation. Kevin O’Leary told them, “You’re wearing those ties because you’re pigs. Pigs get slaughtered.” He also said that Nick and Omar had asked for a ridiculous valuation, and he suggested that the business might be worth around $600,000.
Kevin O’Leary, Daymond John, Kevin Harrington, and Barbara Corcoran all declined to invest in this business. Robert Herjavec offered $250k for a 10% equity stake in Hunks plus a 50% equity stake in the Foxes business. Nick and Omar declined to accept Robert’s offer.
