Highlights

Craig French runs a clothing company called Crooked Jaw, specializing in custom printed hats, pants, t-shirts, and more, targeting exclusively the audience of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) sports. He aimed to expand his business, so he appeared on Shark Tank Season 1 Episode 2 and asked the Sharks for $200k in exchange for a 20% stake.

Many people are involved in similar businesses, and this market is highly competitive. Do you think the Sharks will be interested in investing in Craig’s clothing company? Keep reading to find out.

Crooked Jaw Shark Tank Recap

Craig introduced himself and his two partners to the Sharks, explaining that their first trade show was in San Diego, but they didn’t receive any orders from there. Robert Herjavec asked him about last year’s sales, but Craig didn’t give a proper answer, so Robert said he was out.

Kevin Harrington agreed with Robert’s assessment and said he was also out. Daymond John didn’t show much interest in this business because there are thousands of people in the market doing similar businesses, so he refused to invest. Barbara Corcoran said, “Clothing Guy Daymond is out, and so am I.”

Kevin O’Leary found Craig’s story interesting but decided not to invest in this business because he didn’t want to take the risk.

Crooked Jaw Shark Tank Update

From 2009 to 2014, Craig tried hard to grow his clothing brand, but the business wasn’t sustainable, and there was too much competition in the market. So, he decided to shut down Crooked Jaw business in 2015.

Until May 2024, I have tried to search the internet for information about Craig, but I have not been able to find any information so far.

I have shared a more Shark Tank business update report below for you to see.
