After the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, all bars and restaurants were forced to close. Two Irish friends living in New York, Enda Crowley and Paul Convey, came up with an idea: why not bring the bar experience directly to people? Using their construction background, they created Taverns-To-Go, offering customizable bars that perfectly fit any outdoor space. With these bars, people can enjoy a personal backyard patio bar experience with their family.
They offer backyard patio bars in various sizes with custom designs. Additionally, they provide customization services based on customer requests. To make it even more convenient, they also offer maintenance services and financing options for purchasing the bars.
Enda and Paul appeared on Shark Tank Season 16 seeking investment to expand their business nationwide and turn their dream into reality. Let’s find out what the Sharks thought about their business and the opinions they shared!

Business Pitch Episode Recap
Paul Convey and Enda Crowley appeared on Shark Tank, asking the sharks for $400K in exchange for 10% equity, valuing their company at $4 million.
They explained their custom-built backyard bar business, highlighting their 9 x 6 Castlebar Deluxe Backyard Bar, which retails for $3,795. The cost to assemble, ship, and build the bar is $2,200.
As of 2024, the company has made $2.2 million in sales this year and a total of $10 million in lifetime sales. Paul and Enda started the business with just a couple of hundred dollars.
Kevin O’Leary asked about the company’s customer acquisition cost and this year’s sales. Paul responded that their customer acquisition cost is $250, and in 2024, they are on track to achieve $4 million in sales with a profit margin of 30%-40%.
Kevin showed interest in the business and offered to become a third partner. He proposed $400,000 for 33.3% equity in exchange for helping to boost sales through social media advertising and reducing customer acquisition costs.
Todd Graves mentioned that he wouldn’t be able to provide much help in boosting the business, so he is out.
Mark Cuban said that this custom-built backyard bar business is not a good fit for him, so he is out.
Daymond John said that he would be a customer, but he cannot invest in the business, so he is out.
Lori Greiner offered $400,000 for 15% equity, plus a $30 royalty per unit until $600,000 is paid back, as she wanted a quick return. Paul agreed to the royalty fee and was happy with 12.52% equity, but Lori was not willing to reduce the equity. In the end, Paul and Enda accepted Lori’s offer.
